PURPOSE:
To provide policy guidelines for sponsors/vendors who wish to display products/services at in-person conferences presented by the Dakota Association Medical Staff Services.
CRITERIA:
The following guidelines are developed to allow interested sponsors/vendors to display their products/services during the dakotAMSS Annual Conference.
• Preference will be given to products/services related to the healthcare industry.
• Displays shall be available for attendees at times designated (i.e. prior to meeting, during breaks including lunch, and after daily sessions end). Displays will not be open during educational sessions.
• Displays should provide specific information about the sponsor's/vendor’s products/services.
• Inexpensive promotional items may be made available to attendees (i.e. note pads, pens, etc.) as part of the display.
• Value of door prize contributed by sponsors/vendors should be limited to $50.
• Sponsors/vendors will be responsible for setup, maintenance, and disassembly of display.
• dakotAMSS will not be responsible for security of display.
• Sponsors/vendors must abide by all applicable facility policies.
A form requesting approval to display at the annual conference must be completed by the requesting sponsor/vendor and submitted by email to info@dakotamss.org for approval at least 10 days prior to the meeting. The sponsor/vendor will be notified of approved space within 10 days of receipt of application and fee.
