Remote. Work. Life. Balance.
Working remotely can offer freedom, flexibility, and possibility—but it can also quietly blur boundaries, stretch capacity, and pull us further away from ourselves if we’re not paying attention. This session is not about perfect routines, productivity hacks, or chasing an ideal version of balance. Instead, it is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and thoughtfully examine what remote work—and work-life balance as a whole—looks like and feels like for you as an individual.
Through stories shaped by burnout, growth, grief, resilience, and reinvention, Kylie Eatherton and Jodi Schaan share their personal journeys with remote work and redefining success. Together, they explore the themes of routine, space, availability, and intentional strategies—not as rules to follow, but as lenses through which to notice patterns, question habits, and reconnect with what supports peace, sustainability, and presence.
This session blends a little science, a lot of trial and error, and plenty of honest reflection. Participants will be encouraged to consider where they feel stretched, where they feel grounded, and how small, intentional shifts can help bring work and life into a more compassionate alignment. Whether working remotely, hybrid, or in-office, the ideas shared are meant to spark awareness—not expectation—and to remind us that balance is not a destination, but an ongoing, deeply personal practice.
Objectives:
By participating in this session, attendees will be invited to:
· Reflect on their personal relationship with work, balance, and availability—and how those evolve over time
· Consider how routine, space, and boundaries influence not just productivity, but well-being and sense of wholeness
· Explore what success genuinely looks like and feels like for them as individuals, rather than adhering to external expectations
· Increase awareness of patterns that contribute to burnout, disconnection, or imbalance—and those that foster peace, sustainability, and fulfillment
· Examine how intention, presence, and self-awareness can support more meaningful engagement with work—whether remote, hybrid, or in-person
